Porter Callihan had a very strong weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Stars Camp in Lewiston, ID on June 27-28, 2026. He has good starting form, and his hands are extremely quick, allowing the ball to jump out of the gate really well. I love when Porter lowers his hips just a little more to get his back parallel to the ground at the start of the snap, as it puts him in an even stronger position to generate power. His spiral can be extremely tight and practically sticks to the punter’s hands. The more he leans back throughout the snapping motion, the more power and consistent speed he will create on the ball. Porter has done a tremendous job improving over the past year and is now getting some very good pop from his lower half. He also has a very solid personality on and off the field, which is exactly what coaches will want. Looking forward to seeing him this fall! Right on the cusp of 3.5 stars
