Sam Hens had a really solid showing at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLVII National Showcase Camp in Las Vegas, NV on January 18-19, 2026. The older Long Snapper from the UK brought a very hard working attitude and proved to be extremely coachable throughout the weekend. He’s a quick learner and improved a ton in just 48 hours. Sam snaps a smooth ball with a tight spiral that’s easy to catch. The harder he snaps, the better he performs. When he really drives his elbows, he’s able to create more whip and speed on the ball. He’s got the tools to snap in college for sure. I’m excited to see Hens at a Rubio Long Snapping spring time location.
