Troy VanJelgerhuis showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Chicago, IL, on April 13th, 2025. VanJelgerhuis has a good strong frame and very good starting form. He’s an aggressive Long Snapper with solid upper-body follow-through. VanJelgerhuis’s timing is very close to perfect, and slow-motion drills will help a ton to speed up his legs just a tad to sync with his super-fast upper body. Locking down his release point will increase VanJelgerhuis’s accuracy a ton. He’s right on the cusp of greatness and being a 4.5 star. I can’t wait to see him compete at VEGAS XLVI on May 3-4, 2025
