Wills Gates had a very solid weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS 48 Event on May 2-3, 2026. He is a thick Long Snapper with a solid frame and good starting form. Lowering his hips a bit more to get his back parallel to the ground will drastically increase his overall speed on the ball. Widening his stance will also allow his powerful chest to get through to the punter more efficiently for increased accuracy and consistency. The more Wills presses the gas and focuses on improving his athleticism, the more dominant he will become within his class. I am looking forward to seeing him continue to develop this summer at a Rising Stars Camp in Idaho or Illinois.
