"This is not your typical thank you letter about Rubio Long Snapping. A typical Thank You would be about how your camp made my son a better long snapper and taught him how to compete, to be the best he could be at his position so that he could play on his high school team and then play in college. Well, for our first son that was true. He made his high school team and ended up with 2 State Championship rings and he made it on a a D1 team and ended up with a National Championship Ring. This is a letter about his younger brother who thought he wanted to follow in his brother's footsteps. He went to a couple of Rubio camps and did well. When he made it onto his High School team he did not want to be a Long Snapper, he wanted to be the center and let someone else long snap. He helped coach the snapper and was happy to play his position. What he recently told me as he heads off to college was how much he learned at the Rubio Camps. Practice, dedication to your position, passion for what you do, and most important choosing a college not for football, but for what you want to do for your life. He turned down a few offers for college because they did not offer the major he wanted to pursue. He will be a regular student this fall. He will not be playing football but instead working to do what he wants to do for a career. The lessons taught and the examples demonstrated are not always just about the being a long snapper. They are life lessons on being the best at what you do and being a good student, and most importantly a young gentleman. Thank You RUBIO you have helped 2 of my sons to excel not matter what they decide to pursue."

"Dear Rubio, A few weeks ago our son was fortunate enough to attend the Underclassmen Invitational in Tampa, FL. He had a great first day on Thursday, and really enjoyed getting to see friends he has made from around the country over the past few years, not to mention the great instruction that we value so much. At about 6:00 am on Friday morning we started out on our drive over to the Underclassmen Invitational from our hotel for the start of the competition phase of the event. As we were driving my son said to me "You know what Dad . . . today is going to be a great day". To which I replied, "That's great Son, what makes you say that?". He replied "Well you know I have been working hard, and today I get the chance to compete with a bunch of great friends, all of us just trying to get better at what we do together." Normally his demeanor on such a ride would be more reserved, more introspective, almost worried. But this was different, this was new, he had a different perspective. And that is when it hit me, and I truly understood what was different. He was confident. I saw the value of great instruction and the satisfaction of having been prepared yielded CONFIDENCE. The ability to have confidence in one's self, and understand what it feels like to be confident (yet humble) is an amazing gift. Anything is possible when a young man whole heartedly believes in his ability to work hard and have success, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. The more I thought about it, I realized that whether he becomes a D1 Scholarship Long Snapper or whether he never plays a down of college football, he will always have the experience of competing at a very high level with Rubio Long Snapping. He will always have this journey to self-reference, to build on, and grow as a person, and THAT is what I am truly thankful for. Thanks for what you have done this far, and what I know you will continue to do in the years to come. We are proud to be part of the Rubio Family and Team Rubio. We sent him to his first camp as a Sophomore and we were skeptical, to say the least. We saw a difference in him after attending 1 camp. He had a new found confidence and a desire to become better. As he prepares to leave California and head to Alabama, it is reassuring that he has a family of long snappers and trainers all over the country that he can reach out to.
