Player Review
Daniel Cheveallier was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on March 5th, 2023. Daniel has great starting form and you can tell he's been working on it since Vegas in January. I really loved how strong and powerful he was snapping the ball out in Texas on Sunday. He looked almost angry at times and wanted to hurt the punter, which I absolutely loved. Locking down the spiral is going to be huge because his ball is getting towards college level speeds right now, so it needs to be catchable. Lay down drills will help a lot as he continues to gain strength, so he doesn't overpower the ball and impact his spiral. I absolutely love this kids attitude and I know college coach as well as well. Definitely the type of Long Snapper that is always improving and you want to keep an ion him at Vegas in May. Spiral is going to be a huge in control and his body will be big as well.
Daniel Cheveallier did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Neal has good starting form and it will be great if he narrows down his stance just a little bit. Right now his upper body gets through like an absolute champ as he practically tries to hand the ball to the punter. If he narrows down, it will enable him to get a little bit more use of his lower half. When he gets more use of his lower half, he will gain a lot more speed on the ball. When he is on, Daniel is very on. Locking down his spiral is gonna be a huge thing for Daniel. Athletically, he moves very well, and I love how aggressive he is on his feet.Absolutely love his overall attitude and he's gonna be the type of kid that college coaches. Love on and off the field. Keep a very close eye on Daniel this spring. Consistency will be his key to really jumping up the rankings.
