Player Review

Konner Hawkins was veyr solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLII Event on May 6-7th. His form is as good as anyone in the country. You can look up perfect Long Snapping form in Wikipedia and you would see a picture of Konnor. He's already able to snap close to college level speeds and his accuracy is simply off the charts. One of the most consistent Long Snapper's in the country and he's only a freshman in high school! Simply by trusting his form and pressing the gas will get his ball under .75 at the Underclassmen Invitational on July 15-16 in Los Angeles. Athletically, he shows good promise and can move on his feet. Taking less steps with longer strides will help Konner a ton. Hard working Long Snapper that is very coachable.

Konner Hawkins did extremely well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Southern California on March 12th, 2023. How well you might ask? Well, he ended up winning the whole camp! Obviously, winning any Rubio Long Snapping camp is impressive but doing it as a freshman is beyond impressive. Konner's starting form is excellent and when he is on, he is very on. He obviously has great poise under pressure and is extremely accurate. When he won the camp it was not a fluke. He was nailing threes and twos the entire time. His spiral is tight and his ball is easy to catch. The more he locks down his overall timing between his upper and lower half, the faster his ball will go. Continuing to gain size and strength is going to be huge for Konner as he advances towards the college level. Hard-working, Long Snapper that could end up going very deep in the finals at Vegas this May, if not winning the whole thing.
