Cordes Spickelmeir showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on November 13th, 2022. His starting form is very good and his upper body gets through like an absolute champ. He has quick movements and a really solid attitude. Slow motion drills will be huge for Cordes moving forward to get his athletic lower half fully involved in the process and gain much more overall speed on the ball. Really like his upside and his drive. Coachable Long Snapper that you need to keep an eye on at VEGAS XLI in January!
Cordes Spickelmjet did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on October 16th, 2022. He has a nice long frame that has room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. His spiral is fantastic and the ball will practically stick to the punter’s hands when they catch it. I would like to see Cordes’ get fully set before he snaps the ball. This is an easy fix that will greatly help out all aspects of his snapping. Also, making sure he gets his eyes/head all the way through to the punter will drastically increase his accuracy and speed. Slow motion drills will be huge for Cordes’ improvement at VEGAS XLI and beyond. Coachable Long Snapper
