Jakob Herbst did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in WA on April 28, 2024. He has a great personality and his coach will love him on and off the field. I love how much aggression Herbst has when he is snapping the ball as it almost looks like he is angry at the punter and is trying to hurt him (pssst, I love that). Spiral can be very tight and when Herbst gets set, he does not miss his target. Smoothing out his snapping motion and getting fully set will be the big things I am looking for at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5 and in Idaho this July! Right on the cusp of 4.5 Jakob Herbst was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLIII Event on January 13-14, 2024. Strong Long Snapper with zero wasted movement on his snaps. Jakob gets down, gets set and BOOM!, the ball is out of his hands and headed back to the punter. Quick movements on his feet and with his snapping. Powerful Long Snapper and he is only using mostly his upper half right now. Great attitude and upside plus I like the direction he is headed.
