    Player Review
Big jump in the rankings and well deserved for Keaton after what I saw of him at VEGAS XXIX on January 14-15, 2017. Form is looking very solid and he is doing a solid job of using his whole body when he is snapping the ball. The bigger and stronger he gets, the more speed he will get on his ball. Moving well on his feet and will be a factor in punt coverage in college. VERY good attitude and the kid is a workhorse. Lenoir Rhyne got a good one with solid upside. Keaton showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in NC on November 20, 2016. His form is very good and has good, consistent speeds in the .8s. Accuracy is solid as well. Couple of things can make Keaton get under .79 by VEGAS XXIX: making sure he locks down his spiral, driving with his elbows to create more whip (not being so stiff armed) and really driving his head through to keep the ball on an upward line to the punter. Seems like a lot but he improves so quickly that I would be they are all fixed by the time he eats dinner tonight. EXCELLENT attitude and always moving up.

VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .86 VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.42 VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 24.36 All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality. RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
