Player Review
Merryman did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. One of the more athletic Long Snappers in his class. He is built like a college athlete right now and he still has a year to go in high school. Merryman can pass an eyeball test from about 1/4 mile away. Moves well on his feet and is light when moving from side to side. Strong Long Snapper with tremendous upside. Love to see him focus on slow motion drills to ensure he is driving his elbows. Driving his elbows will really create a ton of speed on his ball since he is so strong and so long. Snapping with full power and confidence will be huge for Merryman. Might have the most potential of anyone in his class.
