Player Review
Johnson did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Midwest Fall Camp on December 9th, 2018. He is built long and has a frame that will be able to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. His hands are strong and powerful. Like to see him lower his butt a bit pre-snap to the point where his back is parallel to the ground. Doing this will speed him up since it will eliminate his tiny hitch he has on his butt. Hitch on the butt means he is winding up to snap the ball and he definitely doesn’t need to do that with how quick his hands are. Slow motion drills will help to increase his overall speed on the ball at VEGAS XXXIII in January. Really aggressive with his upper half and I want Johnson to be that aggressive with his lower half as well. Very good potential on this solid Long Snapper from Indiana.
